Q and A
What do I wear?
We love to dress up and we will be outside, so the dress code is garden formal. The definition of formal wear expands beyond Western wear however! Ghanaian, Chinese, and all other formal wear is welcome. Color is encouraged, so please do not wear a primarily white or primarily black dress to the events on Saturday. The festivities will be outside so prepare appropriate shoes for walking on grass. The bride loves stiletto heels, but she does not recommend them for this event.
How do I get to the Estate?
Thank you for traveling to celebrate with us! Please check out the Travel page for information on airports, hotels, parking at the venue, and shuttle services on the wedding day.
Can I bring a “plus one”/“plus two”/“plus five”?
Please check your invitation for information about how many guests we are expecting with your invite. Our venue is historic so there is a limit on the number of guests we can host.
Can I bring my adorable child?
So many of our friends and family are raising wonderful small humans, that we are not able to accommodate everyone. Unfortunately, we are only able to invite the children who will be part of our wedding party to attend.
What about my food allergy or dietary restriction?
Please note this in your RSVP so that we can work with our caterers to ensure food labels are accurate and there are options to meet your needs. Dinner will be buffet style so that you can select the foods that work for you.
Did you really make your own wedding website?
Hah, no! We convinced the bride’s brother to build it in return for this advertisement. Thanks, Martey!
